Fieldbus communications specialist, ABB

I have been involved in the process industry for 23 years at both the systems and field device levels. During this time I have been witness to the growth in sophistication of the technology employed for control solutions and the battle to support them in the field. As a result of this background, the support of field devices and the new technology through the system has become a main interest for me. In this case I now occupy that grey area between the control system and devices in the field, in other words the “fieldbus zone”.
