Things to do in and around Stratford on Avon
There are 5 properties directly linked to William Shakespeare situated in and around Stratford, the best way to see all of these is by using the Open-top bus tour of Stratford which departs every 30 minutes from outside the Tourist Information Centre, this is a hop-on, hop-off service which visits 13 stops which are points of interest in the town, during the summer there is also a guide on board.
Also recommended is a visit to
Coughton Court
which is where the Gun powder plot was hatched, it is approximately 9 miles from
Stratford
and there is a bus service available.
