Field Instruments Under a Microscope
- The paper covers:
- how PROFIBUS let you see things happening in field instruments like never before
- how instrument manufacturers have used this to improve instrument operations
- how end users can use these new eyes to help them verify operation of a field device and process
- give an introduction to how the protocol lets the users see all this information (cyclic verses acyclic data exchange)
- The paper is aimed at End Users, but system designers and decisions makers should also find it interesting.
- Main Theme would be Process
