Laurie Reynolds is a chartered electrical engineer, he spent 30 years in the water industry, the last 10 of which as Principal Engineer responsible for standards and policy in instrumentation, control and automation.

He then worked in business development for a controls company, before becoming an independent consultant.

He is Chairman of the IEE's professional network in Control and automation, with over 12,500 registered members.
