Keynote Address by Laurie Reynolds

Laurie will briefly summarise highlights and developments in PROFIBUS and industrial communications over the past 12 months. He will then go on to explore the reasons why exploitation of advanced technology in this field takes so long to materialise in the UK compared to other parts of the world.

Drawing on cultural, institutional and technological influences, he will explore the possible reasons and offer some ideas of what could be done to narrow the gap between reality and potential.
