James Powell, P.Eng.

As Product Manager, Communications, James provides technical expertise and leadership on industrial communications for Siemens Milltronics in Peterborough, Ontario, Canada.

He is a Professional Engineer and has published articles in ISA, Verfahrens Technik, PROFIBUS Newletter, PIC newsletter, and Control Engineering. He is an active member of ISA both as a presenter and reviewer. He is an active member of PROFIBUS International and Fieldbus Foundations serving as a reviewer for PROFIBUS working group 7 and a member of the Foundation Fieldbus Transducer Block committee.

He holds a B.Sc. degree in Mathematics and Engineering from Queen's University (1987).
